Can I change the locks on the doors of my house to make my soon to be “ex-boyfriend” move out?

I’ve tried talking, crying, yelling, and even printed an eviction letter. We are not intimate. I can’t maintain the energy it takes to be nasty to him all the time but there is no relationship anymore and he needs to go.

I am so sorry for your situation but there are so many details here that you have left out and that one needs to know to give any guidance.  First, if you are both on the lease to the apartment then no, you can not change the locks.  If you are the tenant and he can be termed a sub tenant then you will need to evict him in order the change the locks.  Please seek legal help.  Good luck.
