Can I be banned from my boyfriend’s place of employment after calling the supervisor a name in my own defense?

My boyfriend has been having issues with his job at a nursing home. He’s been treated unfairly and has been privy to a lot of corruption in the management department. I took him to work and stopped in to see one of the residents, for lack of a better term, “a dirty old man,” who likes to jokingly flirt with young girls. My boyfriend and I find him funny. He joked that I look young and I joked back that I like older men. My BF and I were told by the supervisor to leave on the basis that I had been “inappropriate.” My BF was told I may never enter the building again or cops will be called.

Yes, you may be banned from your boyfriend's place of employment, for any reason at all. The place of employment (a nursing home) is not a place of "public accomodation," like a mall or restaurant; the employer may prohibit any person it wants from coming onsite to what is private property, the same way you could ban any person from your home.
