You need to check with the lender and the mortgage documents. You may not be permitted to add him and doing so may allow the lender to call in the loan. They lay allow him to be added under limited circumstances. But I think that you should speak with some one about all of this. Adding some one to the deed with out adding them to the debt leaves them - not you - in a great position should the marriage not work out. Be practical from the start. Good luck.
