Can the power company ask me for a new deposit after 2 years of service?

It says that my deposit has to be 2 times the rent. I have had several bills higher than $125 and the last 2 years.

It is entirely possible got your power provider to ask you for a new deposit after two years of service. Whether it can legally due so depends upon what your state's public utility commission says on the subject. I suggest that you consult with your state's public utility commission on the subject.
