First off, I'm not sure  when you say "can Colorado extradite..."   Are you currently in Colorado heading to another state or were you in another state and ended up in Colorado?

Generally, most states do not extradite for misdemeanors but it depends on what the misdemeanor was for.  If it was for a DUI probably not; it was for domestic violence (your situation) quite possibly.

You should put a call into an attorney and ask once you give him/her all of the details.  If you can't afford an attorney then call the public defender's office or legal aid.  Whoever you contact, make sure that they are in the same state where the offense occurred.  The more local the attorney the better.  You want someone who is familiar with the exact prosecutor's office involved.  The attorney will have contacts with that office and can thus more adequately represent your interests.
