Can a warrant be issued for failure to appear on a complaint for ejectment?

I received a complaint for ejectment from my landlord, with a court date 10 days from now. I already planned on being moved from the premises before the court date. I know if I do not appear on the court date, landlord will retain posession of property, which is okay because I plan on moving before then anyway. If I do not show up on the court date will a warrant for arrest be issued for failure to appear?

I think that you are thinking something different than what it is.  A warrant of eviction is not the same as a warrant for arrest.  A warrant of eviction gives the landlord the right to get you out (give it to the marshall or sheriff and have them help get you out) but it is not a warrant for your arrest.  Those are generally issued in criminal cases.  Good luck.
