You can be charged with embezzlement for fraudulent appropriation of the property for your own use or benefit.

Apart from the criminal case, the store could sue you for conversion.  Conversion is the unauthorized assumption  and exercise of the right of ownership over goods or personal property belonging to another to the exclusion of the owner's rights.  Conversion is any unauthorized act which deprives the owner of the property permanently or for an indefinite time.

The store's damages (monetary compensation it is seeking in a lawsuit for conversion) would be the forced sale (value) of the items.
