Absent an agreement between the companies that are contributing components to a final product that their names need to be placed on the label of the new product, the label on the new product does not need to state the names of the other manufacturers on the label. The answer is subject to state law on the subject. For example, Sears sells lawn mowers with its name on it but the engines are made by Briggs & Stratton and that company's name is on the engine.
