Bad faith in my home insurance claim for water damage.

In June 13 2019 we had a pipe burst in our attic, it flooded the ceiling and collapsed onto our living room, kitchen and front patio. The water damaged most of our furniture, some of our 3 year old kitchen cabinets tile and vinyl flooring around the house. other then the obvious, ceiling with insulation, walls and base moldings. There has been some back and fourth with the insurance company, liberty mutual, and I just received a denial e-mail. My contractor sent me an estimate of about $32,000 for repairs.

You can sue them. An insurance policy is a contract: the insurer must pay when the terms of the contract, as applied to the facts of the situation, show that they must. If they are not paying when you believe that they should, you would sue them for breach of contract.
