If I just quit my job because of possible discrimination due to my pregnancy, what are my rights?

I noticed that my hours were being reduced to part-time right after I told them about my pregnancy. This caused another employee to pick up all the slack, putting them in overtime and never having days off. I was asked if I wanted to go to part-time but I immediately said no. I asked repeatedly why my hours were being cut and why I kept getting the worst shifts. However, I was pretty much ignored and told, “We’ll see what we can do”.

Preganacy discrimination is a form of employment discrimination and it is prohibited under the Pregnancy Discsrimination Act.  You should speak with an attorney regarding the facts surrounding your working and proving the issue in Court.  Here is some reading on the matter.  Good luck.
