Are unsigned meeting minutes a legal document?
Do meeting minutes have to be signed by all who attended to be a legal document? If they are transcribed but not signed are they legal?

Meetings do not generally have to be signed by anyone. And what do you mean " a legal document?" Do you meant to be a binding document like a contract? So that you can use it to prove something in a legal proceeding? The admissibility of minutes of a meeting fall under your local rules of evidence and generally under a business document rule - kept in the normal course of business, It will have to be authenticated and the transcriber of the minutes will probably have to testify as to the procedure, accuracy, chain of custody, etc. Some societies do require that they be signed by the president and/or secretary and maybe even the corporation itself requires it. It really depends on the facts and the situation in which you are involved.
