Based upon what you have written you can add your father's name to the legal title of your home for the intended refinance and once the loan is processed have his name removed.

However, from what you have written the removal of title of your father under the above facts could be deemed a type of loan fraud where the entire loan gets set aside. It would be better that your father's name remains on title until the loan is paid off in full.
