What to do if a ” friend” got caught with drugs so he told the police that I called the drig dealer and he recieved drugs at my apartment?

The police called me to confirm his story, which is true. They read me my rights but told me that I was not in trouble. They also asked for the dealer’s name and number, which I gave. I had no drugs on me nor was arrested but they said i would be subpoenaed. Do I need a attorney?

Given the fact that you are involved in a criminal proceeding and investigation I suggest that prudence dictates that you consult with a criminal defense attorney before you speak further with law enforcement and before you attend court via the subpoena (for trial) that you seemingly will be served with.
