In a business policy (BOP) you can usually buy an endorsement known as a sprinkler leakage endorsement.  This covers the policyholder for damages due to sprinkler leakage or similar damages not related to an actual loss.

If there is a fire, and you have fire suppression damages (water damage for example) those damages would be covered as a part of the fire.  This would be just like damages caused by firefighters in fighting the fire, including their water damage, any damage to flooring due to their boots tracking in soot, dirt or the like.  You should speak with your insurance agent to determine the cost of the sprinkler leakage coverage and if it meets your needs.  A fire suppression system also reduces the cost of insurance since the system will generally help prevent a larger loss.
