how can I contact Liberty National Ins. co when a claim has taken more than 7 mos and is still not settled? My father took out a life insurance in Jan 2010, it was a term policy that if he died before 3 yrs into the policy it would only pay back the payments plus 10% interest. I have had several call to this company, sent in all needed documentation which was just the papers of power of attorny for my mom as beneficiary, a copy of the death certificate and the claim form needed. It has been since may and I still keep getting the run around. Customer service says I have to wait for their sent email to claims and there is noone I can deal with directly

Contact the Department of Insurance for your state. Asked them how to file a complaint on a life insurance company for your state. They will walk you through filing a complaint. File the complaint today! In the meantime, find out the name of the CEO of the company and call his office. Use the internet or call the company’s toll free number and ask for his name. Ask his secretary for his email address. Send him a complaint by email and follow up with a copy to him certified mail. I believe this will get you the attention you need to get this claim resolved.
