The cost of insurance for different drivers and different cars varies depending upon the insurance company chosen. You will need to shop around for the insurance on your new vehicle to see if you have the best rate available. Your driving experience, driving record and the type of car all affect the rates you pay. The limits of liability and deductibles for comprehensive and collision on the car also affect the costs. If you are currently insured with a company you may have a loyalty discount that applies to the premiums you pay, so be sure you are comparing the same amount of coverage on the car as you shop the costs. Some insurance companies or agents will quote lower limits than what you request in order to keep the costs down and get your business. This is not unethical, but be sure you know what you are buying.
