The named insured on the auto declaration page is the deceased.  I take it that there is no one else that is insured by this policy or co-owner of this car.  Either way, you should notify the insurance company right away that the person is deceased. The auto insurance for the decease individual insured him or her and the auto and anyone that was given permissive use to drive the auto.  The named insured is decease and therefore there is no one to insure to drive the auto as well as no permissive use given. Notify the insurance compnay right away.  Have the tags and the registration properly corrected to reflect any new owner of the auto.  Another person’s insurance would not extend to this automobile.
