i want to find out if my dad had life insurance before he passed away My dad lived in Luquillo PR at the time of his death in July 2010 he was born on sept.22 1932 his name is Jose morales i was wondering if he had a life insurance that his family is not telling us being that we have no communication with them my dad has 6 kids in NY any information will be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of ways to look for a life insurance policy.  Read our article How to Find a Missing Life Insurance Policy. THis may give you some direction.  Although you probably do not have access to any bank accounts he may have, thiings like looking over canceled checks for any premium payments, talking with any insurance agents or financial advisors your father may have used or paying to have a medical index bureau report ran (outlined in our article) may all help to lead you to a policy that may exist.
