Asked on 11/01/2011
I hit a pedistrian in a parking lot and I had no car insurance whats my legal position? I was backing out of parking space and almost out of parking space when a person stopped in my blind spot to see what gas pump he was on. I barely hit him now he has gotten a lawyer. This occured on a Wednesday and I had til Friday to pay my insurance which I couldn't so my insurance cancelled me. Now I am not insured. What if any legal rights do i have? I live in Florida where its a no fault state.
