Grange

Writing on behalf of my client. Auto insurance claim, my client is insured with Grange. Their vehicle was taken to a facility certified by the manufacturer of my clients car. Grange attempted to pay HALF of the bill, $12,000 or a $24,000 bill. In the state of Virginia, you can assert your "right to appraisal" as written in all insurance policies in the commonwealth, only Grange and it's supervisors of the claims department overseeing the claim are DENYING my client their rights under their legal contract (the insurance policy). Absolutely morally bankrupt company if you have to USE them for auto insurance. I've never dealt with a more shady, uneducated claims department in my career than Grange's employees.

[REDACTED NAME] is awesome. Very quick to respond to a claim submitted online, very knowledgeable and informative, very quick to respond to the repair estimate. He made a stressful situation MUCH less stressful by his actions and demeanor. My experience with [REDACTD NAME] and Grange Auto Insurance was the opposite of the stereotypical experience with an insurance company. Kudos to Grange Auto Insurance for retaining a talented agent. Re: other reviews indicating Grange dropped them or increased their deductible after filing a claim....will have to wait and see.

I had a great experience with the 1st agent that contacted me, her name was Jessica Turner. She was prompt in returning calls and e-mails. The great service broke down after my vehicle was totaled. I was transferred to a Jeanette who boasted 21 years of experience, but not much in the way of communication and customer service. I sent proof of tax paid for my replacement vehicle and followed up with calls and emails to Jeanette to be sure it was received. After not hearing I went back to Jessica who promptly took got back to me with an answer. Then the tax reimbursement check amount was incorrect. I tried Jeanette again, but never heard boo, so I went back to Jessica whom apologized for the error and said the rest of the tax reimbursement would come in 3-5 days. Jessica Turner is an asset to Grange and gives clients the reassurance in their insurance company. I have never made a claim before. I am on the fence of keeping Grange for my car insurance. I guess I would need to be assured that Jessica would handle my claim.
