Consumer Complaint:

I was insured with 1st acceptance insurance in Rock Hill, SC. I had an accident. An adjustor came out two weeks after I called and assessed the damages and had to tow the vehicle for repair. It has now been over two months without my vehicle. I am the caregiver for my 90 year old mother with Alzheimer’s and trying to hold down a full time job as well without transportation. I have contacted 1st acceptance, but can’t get a response.

That sounds outrageous, but is the fault of the repair shop or the insurance company? If it is the insurance company, find out the name of its president and write him or her a polite letter explaining the situation and asking his or her help. That's a real letter with a real stamp; calls to 800 number call centers are cheap but usually are a total waste of time. Letters to a CEO get attention in 98% of all cases if the letter is polite -- angry or threatening letters don't work.
