Consumer Complaint:

The insurance company of the person who was at fault for the accident will not move forward with the claim until they are able to reach him. It has been months and they still claim that they are unable to get a hold of him, thus they cannot give what I’m entitled to because they were not able to hear his side of the story.

 

My insurance company said they couldn’t help me out as I have no collision coverage with them. So am I basically screwed because the guy won’t answer his phone or return a letter?

No, you can beat him/them at that game. Sue him in Small Claims Court. He'll tell his carrier and the game is over -- assuming he confirms your story. If he doesn't and denies liability, well at least the judge will decide.
