my insurance company made changes to my policy without my consent they drop all my coverage from full coverage to libelity without my knowledge I have tried to see how that is possible then I found after I was hit that I didn't have full coverage at all

It is unusual for an insurance company to drop coverage on your policy without either your request or without notifying you of the change.You need to review the insurance policy that you received to make sure it included full coverage as you had expected. If it is shown on the policy then you need to contact the agent and/or insurance company to see why the coverage was changed.Some insurance companies require additional information to continue full coverage and if you do not provide them with the required information they may drop some coverage. However, they must notify you of what is needed to continue the coverage and give you a cut off date to receive the information. If they dropped coverage you can ask for proof that they notified you of the changes. If they did drop the coverage, you should have received a refund for the reduced coverage. If you cashed that return premium check, then you had basically accepted the reduced insurance coverage.
