Consumer Complaint:

I had hit a deer June 9, 2008. It is now September 9, 2008 and I still do not have my car. They sent a check and left $1,000 dollars off the estimate and was supposed to have another adjuster come out 4 weeks ago and nothing. Myself and the car dealer have left countless voicemails and they will not contact us back. The dealer left me a message this morning September 9th and told me to file a complaint because it has been over 2 months and I need my car. And I don’t feel I should have to pay my deductible since I have never heard of an insurance that takes this long to get a car fixed. I was told by the dealer to put this complaint in so I know that something is not right.

Good advice. Send a letter to the CEO of the insurance company and the agent setting out the facts. Be polite and let the facts speak for themselves.
