Work phone after hours

I work for a company that requires me to carry
a maintenance emergency phone, we recently
switched from having metro pcs phones that each
community dealt with separately To company
supplied phones that have access to location
microphone and usage data, I have to carry this
phone after hours 24/7 And I feel these
permissions are a breach of my privacy. Am I
correct?

There is no right to privacy in a work setting unless required under the terms of an employment contract or union agreement. The fact is that most work arrangements are what is know as "at will". This means that a company can set the conditions of employment much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable dscrimination). Accordingly, you must carry thos work phone as insteucted or risk being disciplined (up to and including suspension or even termination).
