I have a great health insurance policy, so why do I need UMI.

1) Even great health policies typically have limits; having UM will help protect you in the event of injuries or medical bills exceeding your health coverage.
2) If your health insurance is through a job, what if you lose the job--and hence the coverage?
3) Most health insurance has less good coverage for "out of network" medical care providers; if that's the case with yours, what if the doctor you need is out of network?
Is UM vital if you have good health insurance? No. Does it add a layer of protection? Yes. It's up to you if an increment of protection is worth the cost.
