There really is no effective recourse you have: by the time you could file any legal action or governmental (e.g. Dept. of Labor) complaint--let alone before it was actually heard--you would have been paid, rendering the issue moot. There is not way to practically vindicate your rights when pay is just slightly delayted. Obvously, if you are not paid for weeks, you could sue or file a complaint.
