What is the penalty for someone on probation, paying restitution but failed to finish paying money back within probation time period?

When payment of restitution is a condition of probation, failing to make the required payments can lead to a violation of probation.  I am surprised that your probation was deemed completed with out checking on the restitution.  If you are making that determination yourself I would think twice here and seek legal help.
