What if I inherited a car that was sold before the decedent died?

If my father’s Will says I am to inherit my mother’s ca, but my mother passed away before him and he since sold the car prior to his death, do I get money for what that car was worth or do I get no compensation for the car no longer being owned by the estate?

If the car that you were to receive under your father's Will was sold before he passed away, under the laws of all states in this country you do not get the car (since it has been sold) nor the value of the car unless the Will of your father states otherwise.
