What happens if you don’t deal with your DUI?
My boyfriend got a DUI when he was 19 (now 24) and never went to court or did anything about. He doesn’t drive but I am at my wits end of driving him around. What must he do to get his license back?

I'm not a California lawyer, and I don't know all the facts of his case, but he's going to have to face the music, I think. There's probably an arrest warrant out there, waiting for something to happen where the police connect him to a missed court date.
DUI is serious, and missing his court date is more trouble on top of that. I really think he needs to have a qualified defense lawyer on board before he starts getting this straightened out, to keep the pain to a minimum.
