What can I do about a landlord who is telling people things about me thatare not true?

The stuff that she is saying is not true. The things that she is saying could hurt my reputation, plus cause me to loose my job. It could also cause problems for my family. We live in a small community it doesn’t take long for things to get around.

You could sue the landlord for defamation.  Defamation is a false statement communicated to a third party causing damage to your reputation.
