If what you have written about is a first time offense, there is a chance that you might qualify for court probation. If so, and you satisfy the terms of the probation, the court will dismiss the charge against you without a conviction. I suggest that you consult with an attorney in your locality in the area of criminal law. One can be found on attorneypages.com.
