If my boyfriend and I just discovered that he is not divorced from his 2nd wife, but he married again after that, does he have to file for divorce from both women?

My boyfriend has been separated from his 3rd wife for over 3 years. They recently began the process of filing for divorce. Nothing has yet been filed.

Since your boyfriend is not legally divorced from his second wife, he will have to divorce her before he can marry you or anyone else. However, since he was still married at the time that of his third "marriage", there never was a legal union so a divorce from her is not necessary.
