My children are living with my mother in LA and I need to know what risks are there in giving her temporary custody and how do i even give her temporary custody of my children?

What are the risks? Depending. Why are you giving your children to your mother? Are you in trouble? Are you a drug addict, alcoholic, all of the above? What are the underlying issues?
