student exchange visa?

I’m 25 male, from Iraq. I want to apply for
an exchange program in Washington DC. It
starts this summer. Is there any chance of my
visa getting rejected?
Knowing that I have 2 older brothers living
in Cal. Also my mother is going to visit them
in june and she’ll be back in August.

In really confused.
Thanks in advance

If you are eligible for the program and have an acceptance into the program and can prove that you have substantial ties to your home country ensuring your return, then you should apply and hope it will be approved.  There are no guarantees, however.
