This is a tricky situation, however, we this is the United States and you can pretty much sue for just about anything.  In this case, i would sy that the chiro had a duty of care to adjust the table and make sure it was safe for you.  After, all, if you were at the chiro's office and it was their table, I would say that it is reasonable for the chiro to assist you.  As a result of the failure of the chiro to assist you, you were injured- that spells negligence.  If you do not care that the chiro will no longer see you, then file a claim and see what compensation the insurance company will give you.  I suggest hiring a lawyer to assist you.
