Should i tell my employer about a theft i committed while in active drug addiction

Stole lottery tickets to fund my drug
habit. They have not found out yet

You are not obligated by law to tell your employer. Since if they do become aware, they could legally terminate you whether or not you were addicted (having an addiction does not legally excuse criminal behavior), better to not tell them--if they find out, they find out, but you do not need to bring it to their attention.
