Short term disability

My employer operates in both IN and OH. However, they only offer short/long term disability to the employees in the OH office. Is this legal? Is there anything that I can do to receive short term while working in IN?

Yes this is legal. The fact is that a company can set the conditions of the workplace much as it sees fit. This includes what benefits to offer to what employees. The fact is that not all workers need be treated the same (or even fairly) so long as no form of legally actionable discrimination is the reason for the differing treatment. Accordingly, unless this action violates the terms of an employment contract ro union agreement it is legal.
