Resignation

I work remote live in Denver for a Chicago based
company. If I give 90 days notice, and they terminate
me early, am I still eligible to be paid for the
difference from the final date I gave vs. the date my
employer said was my last day? Thank you

The date that an employee tenders their notice, is the date on which an employer can consider it their last day. Accordingly, that is the day that their wages end. The fact is that giving notice, while a courtesy, is not a legal requirement. The foregoing presumes that you have no employment contract or union agreement to the contrary. Bottom line, a company can set the conditions of work mush as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination). This is what is known as "at will" employment.
