My septic line was broken by a contractor approximately 6 months ago. They have not settled the claim I gave them. What are my courses of action?

Delta directional put a fiber optic cable
through my septic line. Initially, they acted
concerned and were willing to compensate me.
They still have not paid a dime. What are my
options?

You can sue the contractor for negligence. Negligence is the failure to exercise due care (that degree of care that a reasonable contractor would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances to prevent foreseeable harm).
Your damages (monetary compensation you are seeking in your lawsuit) would be what was attributable to the contractor's negligence.
