If my mother died as the sole member of an LLC, how do I retrieve the bank account and also take ownership?

Her estate needs to be probated and IF you inherit--after all, if she had a will, it might not have left you the LLC --then after you do so, you'll have ownership of the LLC and its assets, including the bank account. Until and unless you inherit, however, you do not have the right to the business or its property.
