If my mother and stepfather purchased a house and my mother died followed by my stepfather, who does the house go to?

Mother passed 9 years ago; stepfather recently passed. The house was in both of their names. The Will that he had did have 1 stepdaughter listed but not the other one. Who does it go to?

This depends on whether the will specifically bequeathed the house to the step daughter.  If so, it passes to her on your step father's death.  If not, it passes under his will in general.  If you are asking if he could exclude one of you - the answer in NY (as well as most states) is yes.
