What to do if my friend left her dog at my place but the dog got injured while she was here and now my friend is holding me responsible?

Lid the injury was not a result of anything that you did intentionally or the result of negligence on your part then you have nothing to worry about. Most importantly the dog sitting was a favor, correct, and not a part of any contractual arrangement between you?  Then I think that he or she is just upset and in time the matter will probably blow over .
