What recourse do I have with the realtor or my brother for trying to sell my house without authorization?

My father moved out of his home into a care facility. He put the title of his home in my name. My brother has listed the property on the MLS without permission from me or my father and the realtor has begun to accept offers.

Under the laws of all states in this country if legal title to the home that you are writing about is in your name alone, the realtor and your brother cannot list it for sale. Only you can since you alone have legal title to it. Your recourse is to make a complaint against the real estate agent with your state's department of real estate (DRE).

I suggest that you may want to consult also with a real estate attorney to safeguard your interests as to this house.
