my company installs floors,we’re labor only and we have not been paid by the contractors, just about $20,000 is owed to us.

if we do the mechanics lien how ,about how soon will we get paid?

It depends on a number of factors. first you have do the mechanics' lien, then attempt to foreclose.  That usually forced payment.

Consult with an attorney in your state.  It will be the best route for you.  $20,000.00 is nothing to sneeze at.  Try and then check his or her record at the Arizona State Bar.
