If my car was under my fiance’s name and we broke up but she took it, do I have any right to it?

My fiance and I broke up over this last week. I bought the car we had and fixed it all up, the only thing she paid for was the tires. However, the car registration is under her name. Do I have any rights to the car or any way of getting it back?

The person in whose name a car is owns it; registration is ownership. By registering it only in her name, you gave the car to her; therefore it is hers to do with as she pleases. You have no right to the car or to any compensation for it.
