Wht to do if my biological father died and my stepmom is telling me that I am not entitled to any of the insurance policy that he had for $100,000?

And also the car that he bought and owned. She says that because she is his wife she is entitled to everything. I just want to know because she told me that I could have his car because she does not know how to drive and because she knows that I am in need of a new car but now that we are not speaking she has changed her mind. I would like to know am I entitled to any of his belongings or the money?

If your step mother was the beneficiary on the life insurance policy, the she is entitled to the proceeds in total.
