What to do if our landlord is practically kicking us out due to a bed bug infestation?

All this drama just happeedn this week, though this problem has been happening for a few months. They claim that we brought them in but we’re 100% sure the problem existed before we came 10 months ago. Our landlord is only giving us half of our security deposit even though we have to throw away all our dressers, couches, beds and other personal belongings. What can I do in this situation?

If your landlord is evicting you due to a bed bug infestation with your rental I suggest that you consult with a landlord tenant attorney to see what your legal rights are under the presumed written lease agreement that you have and what your legal recourse is.

Under the laws of your state, your landlord may not be entitled to evict you over the issue you have raised and keep half of your security deposit.
