Can I apply for unemployment for a previous job if my new job lasted 3 days after I was terminated for being very ill and contagious?

While it's worth trying, since it costs you nothing to try, it is very unlikely that you will get unemployment benefits for the previous job getting new employment, no matter how long or short it lasts cuts off prior unemployment claims. Any unemployment claim is only good until you find new employment.
