Is legal to install cameras at your hotel and watch them from home?

The key here is in what areas of the hotel are you installing cameras.  Security cameras are installed all the time for entrances, front desks, areas that hold money, etc. and some are monitored by outside agencies off site.  The legality of the installation, etc., depends on these and other specifics of your plan.
